2009 Student Film Festival is a Success!

Over 100 people pack Apfelbaum 319 for the film festival on Friday night, Dec. 11 (top pic). The event features student films made this semester for SU video production and film studies classes. During the two intermissions, emcee Mike Castrignano directs trivia games; volunteer contestants compete for prizes (directly above). Below, festival attendees Joey Lauver (center, in blue shirt), Ryan Murphy (in yellow shirt), and Stephanie Meyer use clickers to register their answers to movie trivia (and, later, use the clickers to vote for the favorite film from the T/TH section of Fundamentals course). Physics Professor Richard Kozlowski, who plays a key role in the film "Swine Flu Zombies" attends the entire event (below, behind Joey). Senior Josh Brim-Simpson, who co-produced "Torn," uses a clicker to register his answer in the bottom photo.
